Managing Symptoms - Paliative Care


A team of trained professionals will offer comfort care and focus on effective symptom management in collaboration with your physician. The care is individualized but may include pain management and relief of symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea or shortness of breath.

The Meridian At Home Hospice team are experts in providing palliative care—pain control and symptom management. We will also provide training for you the caregiver on ways to help manage your loved ones pain and symptoms. Just as important, we will help you to anticipate changes that may occur during the course of your loved ones illness.

The Meridian At Home Hospice nurse is always in constant communication with your loved ones physician to adjust to and manage all pain symptoms.
